Mafia Wars - Fighting vs. Robbing?

mafia wars

In Mafia Wars you can spend your stamina by fighting or robbing, but which one is the better way to go? I've pondered this often when I should be thinking about more productive things. I will outline some of my ideas on the subject, then if you have some ideas, chime in and let me know what you think.

Fighting:

  • Experience. On average it seems that more experience is granted during fighting. So if you are planning to level up it seems that the experience points can be gathered more easily from a good fight.
  • Loot. Loot can be gained from fighting. For awhile I had a job which required a concealable camera. I kept running out. I found if I fought more I would increase my chances of acquiring that camera that I needed.
  • Achievements. There are three different achievements that can be gained from fighting. There are no achievements to gain from robbing.

Robbing:

  • Cash. Fighting does generate some cash flow, but it is not even close to the cash that can be acquired by robbing a few casinos. If it is cash that you need, robbing appears to be the way to go.
  • Satisfaction. I feel like robbing is more satisfying. There is something about putting other folks properties out of business that is a bit more entertainging for me.

So what do you think? What do you do and why? What do you enjoy doing the most?
